While your in the cult and being victimized by those taking the lead, Kate, you actually believe that the branch who blessed these idiots to be elders would fix the situation. It's not until your out out and stand back to see it for what it truly is, there is no hope for the person who was innocent. God, how many times we could kick ourselves for thinking we would be helped and yet were lied too over and over. Feel humiliated and stupid. Not shocked in the least. We had called bethel about what these goons did to us and bethel's Rod Jung told us we couldn't be df'd or publically reproved for discouraging young ones five years ago from pioneering. He told me to write in detail what happened to us and bring it in which we did. I brought in my transcript of my six hour judicial committee meeting and Mike in the service department said I should still be going no matter what and that they would look at it. Two months went by and I called them to see what the hold up was and Mike said Rod never told me to bring it in and that my transcript is sitting in a pile of complaints and that it could take years before they would get to mine. All because these elders were covering up a guy who was reinstated to keep his marriage together, waved a loaded gun in his wife's face, had a nonjw employee forge his wife's signature, had called the cops on his dad because he thought his dad stole from him, threated to kill his dad, has no gun license to begin with but has all these guns, had the cops called on him for domestic abuse, and so on and so on for the last two years with no discipline from these idiot elders yet because we stopped going to our meetings they did this to us and bethel didn't want to get involved. They lied to us and it came from the top down. It's a cult! Oh, and when I called Rod Jung, he turned around and hung up on my when he asked for my name. That's how they do things in this god forsaken cult.

Ken Little has been put out to pasture. He's still at the bethel but Rod Jung is in his chair now. Jung was the one that lied and told us that he never said to bring in my letter of what these idiots did to us. He said to write it in detail which we did and then denied saying anything to us and then he hung up on us.
The last talk Kenny gave was embarrassing. He couldn't remember what to say and forgot where he came in to get on the stage and almost walked right off the stage after he was done his talk. Two attendants had to run over to him and guide him off in the right direction.

rumours spread of my 'apostasy'.. in may, cobe contacted me inviting me to a private meeting with elders at the kh.
(no mention of the meeting being a jc).

in our case there are still some that are talking to us. Last night we ran into one who crossed over the road and said hi to us yet there was a white car coming towards us and he thought it was his wife coming home from the meeting and he ran. It was really sad to watch. If you've done nothing bad except not go to the meetings, people will still talk to you but only when no one is watching.
I hope your elders don't slander your reputation the way ours did. The more they did, the more people were asking us what happened and we were glad to tell them. I truly wish you the best and hope they do leave you alone but your wife seems to be wanting attention and not for the right reasons. In marriage, the both are to have each others backs no matter what. If she keeps this up and causes a stir with the congregation, it wouldn't surprise me if the elders have to act on it. Good luck and keep strong.
The power is with you since you've educated yourself with TTATT and no one can take that away from you. That's why they run, slander your reputation, don't talk to you ect,,, They have no power and have to act like a bunch of uneducated delinquents.

Your elders didn't officially announce you as df'd from the platform but for sure they will have told everyone not to talk to you. They did it to me (I was publically reproved) and they recently did it to another family in a neighbouring congregation not far from this one. They don't have enough evidence on someone who is not coming to the meetings, then they will just tell ones not to talk to you. A local needs was also given about not associating with those who don't come to the meetings and that includes not talking to those ones. Again, they did it to me as well as another family in another hall. Too bad for the goon elders that want to make asses out of themselves for people are still talking with us as well as the other family. Love it when their control is out of control.
